00 / The brief

The everyday contradiction

A room should not have one good seat.

During a studio exercise, a fellow student gave me one problem: small fans feel powerful in one spot; large fans reach farther but spread the breeze thin.

Small fan Force.

Concentrated air. Limited reach.

Large fan Reach.

Wide coverage. Less refreshing force.

Aerionique Both.

01 / The principle

One central breath

Breathe in.
Breathe through.

The core draws air in. Internal ducts carry it outward. Perimeter nozzles release it around the room.

02 / Give air direction

The room is not one fixed target

Turn the flaps.
Move the breeze.

Every part of the system has one job: take the same airflow farther, then place it where it is useful.

01 / Aim

Directional flaps

Each flap rotates freely, so the breeze can be aimed at any part of the room.

02 / Multiply

Air-multiplying nozzles

The outgoing stream is shaped to pull surrounding air with it and amplify the flow.

03 / Reach

360° distribution

The layout targets even coverage across rooms up to 300 sq ft.

04 / Focus

Air where it is needed

The concept proposes automatic focus without giving up full-room distribution.

Coverage, airflow multiplication, automatic focus and acoustic performance are design intentions shown in the concept—not test results.

03 / The quiet core

Noise is designed at the intake

Quiet starts
at the hole.

A perforated gradient mesh wraps the core. Micro-holes let air in; a smooth fillet around each opening is intended to reduce inlet noise.

04 / Inside the route

The project calls it a cyclonic motor

One motor.
One continuous route.

    Air enters through the perforated central core.

    The internal duct system moves it to the perimeter.

  3. 03
    Release

    Directional nozzles send the air into the room.

  4. 04
    Amplify

    The jet draws surrounding air into the stream.
